Mouse Problems

Im having a lot of problems with my mouse functions in flash. The sensitivity seems to sky rocket in flash. I single click and it does the double click function. I dont want to go out and waste money on a new mouse because it doesnt seem to happen anywhere else but in flash. I have turned down the sensitivity in the control panel but it doesnt help. Anyone ever heard of this problem?

My fears came true. About an hour after posting this, i was playing a game and my mouse started messing up. had to break down and buy a new mouse. problem solved.
