Is flash needed for this website

Does flash make up all of this website as i check the source code and I just see a flash embed?

Not from what i see most is dreamweaver and fireworks. You can do those effects in fireworks. I didn't check all the links though.

It seems to be all flash, was it needed, probably not.

It is all flash I have checked up with many other people and some here agree.
In flash can you create a menu to drop over other non flash objects/images on screen?

Using DHTML layers it is possible.
