action panel -- blinking cursor

i don't remember seeing this before but the insert cursor is blinking in my action panel and it's very distracting anyone know where i can turn off the blinking?

ha. i realize the silliness of my question... it wasn't the normal blink ... blink ... blink ... it was more of a bli..bli..b.b.b.blinnk.. blink-blink.... blink

i quit and relaunched and now i'm back to a normal blink.
