it seems like flash wasn't made to run on an apple. the authoring AND the swf files work differently than on PC.

I've noticed sooooo many times when on the apple at work that if i delete keyframes and remove tweens, the timeline wont update unless i scroll to the right and then back again, in the timeline. WEIRD!!!

And swfs seems to run slower on the apple than a PC.

I am on a brand new G5 at work, and we have a crappy old PC for testing. The SWFS run smoother on that little thing that they do on the G5!!! what the hell!?!
hahaha, its insane!

Hm... I really can't speak for MM nor Apple, but did you install all the required patches for Flash and still have problem??? Time to call up MM and start yelling at them if it does after the patch... ;)

the only problem is that i can't install anything hahaha. i dont have permissions to do so at work. i have to get this nerdy guy to come over that shoves me over and covers the keyboard when he enters the password to install anything.

I should install something that records all the key presses on the system hahaha.

is there something like that for OSX? I knew of one way back in the day on PC. (way back meaning like windows 98)

Well... What I have done in the first place when I join the company was to ask the permission to make me an administrator of my work computer so that I can do what I need to do... Email your manager... That's gotta work whole lot better than the keylogging which could kick you out of the company... ;)
