FYI, my commute was 85 miles a day and it is 8 miles a day now... :D

4 miles one way... put on the ole walking shoes and walk to work everyday. you will probably still spend less time on your comute then you used to, and be in better shape.

I think cycling is the best way to get to work.

I do a 15-20 minute cycle into work.

Especially as here in the UK - the government has just introduced a scheme where employers have to offer schemes to encourage people to cycle to work e.g. money off bikes / loaning bikes / providing some money for each employee towards their bike etc.
