Text Audio synchronization

Hi,

I am trying to build a samll course teaching about maths.

I have a xml file. From this XML file I will take the data and put it in the text field. I will display an image along side the data. Audio will also start at the same time.

My problem is:

How will I change the data of the text field without firring any event? i.e. before clicking next button the data from the text field should change(because text explaining the image is too big) and should be synchronized with the audio.

How to go about doing this?
