Motion AND shape tween @ same time!??

i am trying to make a pac man thing. therefor i need a shape tween to make his mouth open and close as WELL as a motion tween to make him move.

i was going to try to make a animated gif and then just have that move with a tween, but when i import the gif it goes into like 8 keyframes instead of going into 1 so i can motion tween it.

so how do i do this?

anyway i think i miss read your origonal post

the way i would do it shape tween an open mouth to an almost closed mouth then a couple of frames of a whole circle then shape tween an almost closed mouth to an open mouth

i would put the shape tween into a mc that could then be animated around the stage

i've done another version - on a different computer - and bunged in a little functionality for ... whatever... this one is flash 7
