Point me in the right direction please (image gallery)

How's things?

I have just had a meeting with a client who is looking for a flash image gallery similar to this one - artfuldodgerny.com (right hand side - click "View Collections")

He's only interested in the gallery layout (random thumbs) - not the site design. I think that the gallery is slow loading - do you think it is a manual gallery, or xml gallery?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for tutorials, websites, books to achieve something similar?

Can the 'View Collections' gallery be made using xml?

Yes.

Look into the XML Object, the MovieClipLoader Object and Math.random for the positioning and rotation.

Feel free to ask about questions about these objects specifically.
