Hiding Layers

Is it possible to hide specific layers of an animation? For example, I have a movie clip with 10 layers. Based on input I receive from an ASP page, I would like to show 1 of those layers, but hide the others.

Nope, sorry that can't be done, but you can absolutely target whatevers sitting on the stage....and then make them invisible or move them off the stage out of eyesight...

or...
put each layer of your animation in its own mc and then control the visibility of the mc... don't know how hard it would be to animate somethin like that tho.

That's what I did. Works well too. :)
