I am using basic Helvetica for an all flash website - My client is looking at html text and wants the same quality.

I showed the client flash 8 text when I put the setting adjust for readability.

He thought the black looked gray and did not have the same quality as html.

I put the text on whole pixels.

I read somewhere that dynamic text is clearer - Is that true?

Is there anything else I can do within flash?

Here is the html website my client is looking at - ALSO if anyone knows of the font the website is using for the main text that would be appreciated

I think dynamic text, or device font will make the text easier to read.

The site you posted probably use Verdana around 11px.

U can try to "fff" (fonts for flash) fonts which will be as clear as the fonts which u are showing in the link provided by you.

text not embedded is clearer, yes.

or you can embed the font and anti alias it (or whatever it is called)

i'm having the same problems with the blurriness of my fonts and for awhile i just put it to "for animation" b/c it came out clearer than my "for readibility" due to the fact that flash couldn't read my fonts so it got a weird yellow glow on it.....now i come upon this reply and i'm puzzled...how do you fff fonts? clarity of type is a major issue in any website and field but definitely in mine....thanks SO much!

What was meant is to use pixel fonts... Some you can find at...
