Hi everyone,

I did a CD presentation in flash, so I published my work as .swf, .html, .exe, and as mac projector.

I found that in other computers the .html was working perfect but the one for mac projector, was playing my work really slowly.

Any help???

thanks

A projector file has all your info in it without an compresions, (compress jpeg) in the publishing settings. Look at the final size of you projector compared to your swf. It will be a great deal bigger (i.e. slower). The only thing i can think of to prevent this is by reducing the size of the file. To do this you have to script things to access files from your server, for example if you have a video in your presentation don't import it to your library. Script an image holder to load it from your coputer. Then when you make your projector you need to include all remote files on the cd you give out or they will never load. I hope this helps. That's all i can think of. Have you tried running the projector on other computers?

A projector is just a stand alone flashplayer + with your swf built in. It is only be 1 or 2mb bigger, in my experience.

So the mac projector on a mac plays slowly? Does the html+swf version work ok on a mac?

Did you create the mac projector from a mac version of flash?

Also it may run slower if you are running it directly from the cd. Did you try to copy the files to your desktop.
