Button Fade Problems

I have some buttons that fade but the text on the buttons does not fade. So when the movie plays the buttons fade in but the text just sits there. How do i make the text fade too? I am using the alpha fading.

Embed the fonts, or make them Static text. Either of these are done from the Properties Inspector with the text-field selected.

the button text is already set to static.

this is a new development. i read this (http://www.adobepress.com/articles/article.asp?p=433756&seqNum=7&rl=1). I did all but number 4. when i preview the movie there is some text that show. when the movies is done the fade the real text appears. attached is a preview.

i figured it out. i just needed to update the fading frames. but now when i view the movie the button will only depress over a few pixels and not the whole button. do you know how to fix that?

ok i fixed that by deselecting the "selectable" button next to single line drop down.

So it wasn't static text

nope. it had to be dynamic embedded text without the "selectable" option turned on.
