A recent project is the reason for this post.

First, what are the topics you guys are having the hardest time with right now? And also, where do you see yourself headed as developers? What things do you want to know more about, and what areas would you like to do more work in?

This is research for some curriculum I am putting together, it's early on so I just want to get an idea of what you guys are thinking. It'd also be really useful information to have here on the forums.

Please keep responses on topic (Ruben!!!) :-D

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.
Michael

"where do you see yourself headed as developers?"

right now i do Flash (and a few other platforms) work at an agency. it's fun, but my goal is to start my own company with a new, innovative service of some kind. it's tough to work on side projects on the weekends when you're putting in a lot of hours programming during the week.

doing work for clients pays you hourly. creating and owning a service pays you exponentially.
