i know this is SOMEHOW possible.
I have seen this in other projects, but I'm not sure how to do it myself.
lets say i have a movieclip on my timeline. inside that movieclip there is an animation that leads up to the final look of that object. when I exit that movie clip and view the main timeline, i see the FIRST frame within that movieclip. how can I set it to see a specific frame, to help me align things better.
I tried using a guide layer (not a motion guide, just a regular guide), but the guide seems to only be visible inside that movieclip.
I've ALSO seen it where as your scrub through the main timeline, the movieclip shows its animation. i don't really want that, but I wondered how that was possible while in authoring environment.
