Gradient Background...

Hi all, really hoping for some help...

I seem to be getting absolutely nowhere with something i am trying to do. I wish to have a gradient background on a flash site i am designing, with the gradient scaling up and down independantly from the main flash movies according to the size the browser window is at...

If anyone can help me with this issue it would be most appreciated..
