Hello everyone,

Well, there have been a lot of updates to this hobby website I do for Chayanne fans since the last site check request. (December 2001)

With this new change, I could really use the group's expert eyes:

I've done a "Video of the Day" feature, that changes a video to run automatically every day according to a set schedule. The videos are everything from music video, interviews, live performances etc. The video is encoded with Squeeze and imported to the player at runtime - broadband and 56k selections are offered.

Could you guys take a look at it and let me know if all seems well? While you're there, if you could have a peek at the updated site for design flaws or suggestions, that would be awesome as well.

All feedback is of course very welcome.

Cafe Chayanne (http://www.cafechayanne.com/cafechayanne.htm) - the video player is in the "Chayanne" section, and the password is "flashmx"

Thanks!
Karen

hi

yep I tested the video and it all worked pretty well....video stalled a few times and the initial buffer time took a while.

I viewed the broadband version and am on a cable connection (capped at 60k/sec)

quality of the video looked good

cheers

Billy,

Thanks for the feedback!

I appreciate it. Smooth streaming is my number one concern at this point, so your comments will help me go back and tweak a little more.

I apologize for not replying sooner. I was in Mexico for a while, and then haven't been checking the thread.

Again, many thanks.

-Karen

PS. The feature is live now - no password is needed anymore.
