Adding Animated GIFs via Movieclips?

Does anyone know how to add Animated GIFs to FlashMX via movieclips, or how to add movieclips to Flash scenes in general?

I did that, I imported the GIF and noticed that the MC had several frames b/c of the animation. However, when I drag the clip to my movie's stage, I can't get it to animate. How would you go about doing this? :confused:

You are not able to see your mc animate in fla. Publish it and you will see the animated GIF in your mc.
