Hi
I'm rather new to Flex2 and I had a general question about search engine words like what you'd find within the meta tags of a static HTML page. Seeing is it that the output is a giant .swf file for clients, how does one address the issue of their site being available for search engines, or is it even possible?
Thanks

I did a quick google on Flash and SEO and there were quite a few hits. I just glanced at a couple but here are some that might interest you and I'm sure you can find more on that google search.

I looked on major forums but didn't think to google the thing...
Thanks

Since Flex applications can be quite large in file size, it might be smarter to have a welcome or login page in regular HTML if you want people to visit your site through search engines. Moreover, I don't think many search engines use HTML meta information for SEO anymore. Companies like Google know that its smarter to analyze the actual content to get a better idea of how to rank pages.
