Scrolling text

OK, I have a text file (the source code for the first version of Linux, actually!) that I want to use in a Flash movie.

The effect I'm looking for is a vertical text scroll, so that when the movie loads the text scrolls down the screen until it reaches the end, then it starts again.

As you've probably guessed by now, I'm pretty new to this:) so a push in the right direction would really help.

Any help is appreciated.

put you text box in a movieclip

give the mc this action

onClipEvent(enterFrame){
this._y-=5;
if(this._y<-1000){
this._y=0;
}
}

this will move your mc up by 5 pixels every frame until it gets to -1000 when it will set it's y back to 0

obviously, you will need to change all these numbers for appropriate ones
