Spawn Pop-up From Dyamic HTML Text

Hi All

I have viewed this tutorial (http://www.actionscript.org/resources/articles/22/1/Pop-Up-window-within-flash/Page1.html) and this tutorial (http://www.actionscript.org/resources/articles/20/1/Spawning-External-Browser-Windows-Pop-ups/Page1.html) and they explain exaclty what I want to do but from Flash. I have dynamic html content with links in it that I would like to spawn a pop-up that I can control size, menu, status bar, location bar, etc. I have tried using javascript in the html box but Flash doesn't like that.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Anyone have any thoughts? The only solution I have come up with to date is having the link open a page that opens the appropriate pop-up window and then closes itself but that's not a clean solution.
