I have built a very small movie (100k), at 60 fps. The movie is pre-loaded. On a 56k modem, it is slow! On a cable, DSL, T1, etc... it runs nice and smooth. Why? Is it because of the 60 fps? Should I lower that number? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance-

Are the systems which run the movie the same other than their internet connection? 60fps is way too high in my opinion. Even 30 is too high for most projects. There's a very good analysis of the capabilities of Flash on various machine sin FoE's Games Studio Book.

Jesse- Thanks for the advice, I bumped it down to 36 fps and it runs nice and smooth on my slow processsor at home and on my super fast connection here at work- I had a feeling 60 fps was too big- I was going on the advice from someone else on that one- I agree tho it should probably be bumped down even more- There's never an end to learning this stuff is there :)
