Playstation Portable Dashboard Effect

Hi Everyone,

Im kinda new to Actionscript.org, and you guys (and gals) seem like a pretty knowledgeable bunch. So I was wondering of anyone here has possibly figured out how to make the background effect on the PSP Dashboard.

If you havent figured it out but would like to try, just post and I will set up a still image of what the dashboard looks like so that people can mimick the effect. I just have no idea how to do it.

The PSP dashboard is just a simple looping animation that changes the bg color based on the month of the year. What part of it is confusing you? The animation, or how to get it to change colors based on the date?

Its the animation of the lines. I just cant get my head around how to do it cleanly. I wasnt sure if there was a way to do them in actionscript of if it was all just a looping animation.
