drop downs won't hide

I found this sample drop down menu (http://tutorials.alsacreations.com/deroulant/menu-horizontal.htm) and I was able to tweak it so it looks how I want it to look, but it has one bug that I have no idea how to remedy - The sub menus don't hide themselves after you roll off of them. They only hide if you rollover another menu item and then that drop down won't hide.

From what I can tell, it is a problem with the javascript, but I obviously don't have a clue about that stuff.. Anyone have any ideas about how to fix that?
