Alright, so I made an example of what I'm trying to achieve which when you roll over the button, an intro animation plays then goes into a loop and when you roll out it goes to a fade out animation.

Right now I'm using onClipEvent(enterFrame) for every instance of the stars on stage to make them randomly appear so I'm wondering how I could use duplicate movie for someting like this and even make the animation smoother and more realistic.
