Hi All,

I want to find all fill colors in a shape selection(i mean no groups no symbols or movie clips in the selection) . Is there any way to find it or any indirect method to find it?

Would it be good enough to find all the elements and ignore the ones which are groups and symbols? To do that, you should loop through your selection and look at Element.elementType.

still i dont see any method/function or object that make it possible to treat selected shapes as many different instead of as one.

No, I see.

The only way I've found round this is to select, then distribute to layers; you should then be able to work on each shape individually on its layer, probably collapsing them back down on to one layer at the end.
