I've had a look around, but can't get my head around a few things.
I have an .flv that I simply need to have a call-to-action play button (over the top, aka the youtube vids), upon which point it buffers (with an indicator) and streams the video.
So...
1 - Can this be achieved *without* FVSS? (ie, by instead just using the "progressively download from server" option when importing). Thus far, the whole 4mb video loads from the server before the video player shell appears and is able to be played. So there's that dead time before anything can happen.
2 - If not, what's involved in setting up stuff on the server side to achieve this?
3 - If not using FVSS, is there a workaround to getting the same functionality?
Any easily digestible tutes would be much appreciated, especially pertaining to having the single button over the video which when clicked initiates the streaming.
Cheers...
