The team over at FlashLoaded (http://www.flashloaded.com/) are keen to have the following components reviewed.
advancedLoader - http://www.flashloaded.com/flashcomponents/advancedloader/
360PanViewerPRO - http://www.flashloaded.com/flashcomponents/360panviewerpro/
flashTooltip -
http://www.flashloaded.com/flashcomponents/flashtooltip/
Reviewer will be supplied with a full version of each of the above components (digitally, no physical postage).
Who's up for it?

I hear from the guys at FL that these three are small enough to warrant one review for all three combined.
CB - if you want to take this batch, we can give the next to Faffy as they are planning on doing a few batches I think, based on how this first round turns out.
What do you think?

Well... I think it is best to separate them for the users' sake... If you combine them all together, the review will end up with quite simple and concise version which might not be good for the user... I think we should separate them into individual reivews... and that's good for the reviewer's work load as well... That's my 2 cents... ;)
Having said that, I sure can do all that in one batch, but it will take some extra time... What's the turnaround time estimate???

OK, well I'm pretty easy. Multiple smaller ones is fine by me and FL don't seem to mind particularly. Since it's a first go at this, we'll do it this way and if the components seem too light on to review individually, then maybe you guys can work together to combine your results :)
CB / Faffy - Can I have your permission to send your email addresses onto FL for distribution of the components?
CB - Re turn-around; we need you to tell us that :)
@All: That leaves the advancedLoader component still up for grabs. Volunteers?

Sure... That sounds good to me... ;)
But I think we should have generalized timeframe like 2 week for a book review, 1 week for a program review and so on...

I would be interested in doing the review for the advancedLoader for FL. I have their ultimate scroller which kicks. Let me know the process.

Looking forward to reading it.
I should have also said, reviews should go in the Reviews category and the title should be "Review - XYZ" where XYZ is the product name. Will add that to the template.

I added it, but I don't think it is showing up correct for whatever reason. I'll have to go back and watch the videos.

Thanks mate.
Looks like you put the tutorial body in the summary instead of a blurb there. Summary is for an overview, then you create page sin Step 3 of the Wizard to hold the main content... I'll let you do it to become familiar with it.

Approved...
Jesse... I think you should do something about the avatar not aligning(or resizing) correctly...

Looks good.
Deleted duplicate.
The avatar not lining up thing is a CSS issue. In one browser it works, int he next it doesn't. Apparently the new edition of the CMS has some great features for auto-resizing and sampling images, but to be honest, we're so far off the standard build with all our hacks, I'm sure it'll take us a while to migrate when it eventually comes out. (Ironically, a lot of our new hacks are built into the new version . I should get points for inventing features :) )

Hehe nah. My new job starts in two days and it's actually not an IT job! Well, not strictly.

Good luck with your new job... ;)

Hi Jesse
I will happily do reviews for both "PageFlipper" and "ThumbnailerPro" if you are able to get hold of the components. They both look really useful and I would be interested to know if they can live up to their Marketing Info. FlashLoaded components have always been great in the past, but those two would solve quite a lot of issues for people if they work efficiently.
Of course the big question is...is anyone brave enough to take on fCMS? I really want to know if its any good.

Thanks for the offer. FL are keen to to work with us to review more of their stock, but we mutually agreed to break it down over several months so we don't end up plastering the site with reviews for their products.
Apart from anything else, they've all been so positive so far that it looks like a bit of an advertising campaign after a while! We'll post again on the Reviews forum when the next batch are up and ready, but take into account your suggestions.
