Hello there!

I just watch a video on Joshua Davis workflow and wan't to know how he did that: You can see him dragging a component from his library
and then dragging a symbol on the component who is directly attached to the component itself,...

I want to know how can you do this wonderful drag and drop miracle. Is it possible to add some "inspectable drag&drop" tag to the mc propertie of the component class???

I hope someone know what I'm talking about.

It's like you put a symbol inside the component without editing it...

Wow it's difficult to explain. I hope that I did not dream all this stuff. If I do please someone wake me up! :-)

Thank you for your help.

Yeah, that's one of those features that is hard to find documentation about.

Basically you need a special property with the name "_targetInstanceName"

Check this out...

thank you sleek,

It's really close to what I'm looking for but why do he name his class "dropMe", if I can't drop the mc I want to use directly on the component. People should think about sensible guys when they give name to their class, I was just about to cry.

Seriously, it really help me, and I think that it's impossible to go "farter" (is it english??), I certainly dream this stuff.

by the way thank you this thing is very usefull.

take care.

Simon.
