Mac Widgets - ColdFusion?

Does anyone know if widgets for OS X (and i suppose gadgets for Vista) can be written using ColdFusion? I have done some research and know that many/most widgets are javascript/html based, but is this possible?

Howdy and Welcome... :)

Honestly, I am not the right person to answer the question because I am not following what's happened in CF world for the past few years...
I know that you can create simple Flash object by ColdFusion, but that still requires a server that supports CF, right???
If that is correct, I don't think you can create a good widget with CF because there are times when you don't have an access to the Internet on Mac, and your widget won't work if that happens... What do you think???
