Flash 04, not that I know about. Flash 8 and the FLVplayback component, yes.

Delete the media play back from the stage
On the same key frame, drag the flv play back on the stage
and how do you customize that component?
Double click the component and in the properties panel, select the skin text field. I think you can create your own skins but that would require Google searching as I haven't done that.

I have customized the flv player once and I think I can explain how to do it .
First you add the flash flv player, select the component skin (will serve as a template) and export your movie.
Flash will generate and SWF file in your project folder with the same name as the skin template you chose (ie. ClearOverPlaySeekMute.swf).
What you need to do next is search your computer for the file named: ClearOverPlaySeekMute.FLA.
Copy that file into your project folder (so you don't mess up the original component used by flash), and then edit this new copy.
After you export the file, your main SWF will load the new ClearOverPlaySeekMute.swf file.
PS: once you start editing the FLA file, it will take some detective work to figure out what does what and which movie clips are inside what... you can figure that out.
