Bluring in MX

Does anyone know how to blur objects in Flash MX. I can do it in flash 8 but I was just wondering whether you can do it in mx.

realtime blur filters were added in Flash Player 8.

as pan said there are no blur filters in flash mx

1.what you can do is if you want to blur a sharp image

first blur an image in external application (photoshop) and have a sharp version

then to fade the good image alpha out (ie 100 to 0) as a tween
at the same time bring in the alpha of it's blurred image (from 0 to 100)

2. if you just want to blur something you can goto modify>shape>blur fill edges ( - by playing with that and deleting bits and changing the alpha you can get good effects

The blurred image will have to be a gif or png with no bg. Unless of course you use the same bg as your flash movei:o
