My Flash 8 keeps crashing

Hello, I just purchased Flash 8, and it must have crashed over 20 times today. I am opening old MX files and saving them in AS 1.0 for flashplayer 6. Yet, everytime I publish, then try to save, it crashes. It only performs the publish and save about 50% of the time. Has anyone else had this problem? Or do you have any ideas of what I should do to solve it?:o

Pick up the phone and call Adobe... Seriously...

but before you spend half your day on hold....

Remove and Reinstall flash. Make sure to follow the directions: ie:

close all other programs that are running
make sure your connected to the net and have AC power (if its a laptop)

I had to delete my Flash 8 preferences file from my library and restart Flash. It seems to be working fine now.:p

What was the exact file name and path for future reference??? ;)

Probably it has to do with the Operating system
