ok everyone,

this question concerns audio loops, specifically the creation of the kind of flash loops you find at http://files.swish-tutorials.com/files.php. because for me, being able to create high quality music of a particular 'mood' to go with a particular flash project, is something i know'd be a well useful skill

and i don't reckon it can be that hard to acquire

stuff like Fruity Loops, Reason and Cubase help loads anyway, by letting you see the structure of a song and how the instrument sounds fit together. as does a smattering of music theory (which i've got from studying the piano as a kid)

the trouble is, pulling apart whole MIDI files on stuff like Fruity loops is a ballache - they're just too big. what i really need are small flash loop packs in Fruity Loops, Reason or Cubase format (or something similar - rather than as WAV files like you usually get). maybe 20 or so of them - in a diverse range of musical styles

with these, i've a feeling i might be able to learn how to create my own high quality loops (to suit whatever 'mood' my flash projects demand) in perhaps a week or so

anyways, if anyone knows of where or how i might be able to get these loops, help'd be much appreciated

yours, dave

yeh i know i can get audio loops from all kinds of places (some really good ones too). thing is, i don't want audio loops - not as WAV / MP3 files, etc

what i want is the song file - ie:- a cubase file if it was created in cubase, a reason file if it was created in reason, ditto for fruity loops, etc

i want this kind of stuff specifically so i can see HOW these loops are created. how melodies & effects combine with drumbeats, etc

i'm not holding my breath though. much as i think it'd be an ideal way for me to learn music (at least to a basic level) i've been flogging this topic on computer musics' forums for the last week with no luck
