Animates flash Buttons

Hello everyone,

I have been using flash for only a little while and want to a personal site of my own. I have been watching various tutorials and found them really good and informative.

Now, Im ready for my own project. I have come across a site which has really interesting buttons, which seem to stay up when the user has pushed. When the user rolls over the over buttons they animate up. When the user rolls out they drop until they click the relevent button.

Can anyone help with a basic tutorial on how this may work? Ihave a few tutorials which show roll over and roll out but these seem to work differently, obviously with more actionscript.

making the button stay in the up state until another button
has been pressed.

OK, bro, here's your help.
Your problem is that your buttons are too slow and not so dynamic as the buttons in the site you showed. You should use less flames between the tween and more actions and colors.

In addition, you can add movie clips into the buttons, without making THAT kind of tween inside the buttons. You can add music, graphics and lots of animations.

to be honest the main design itself needs to be updated, I'm just trying to get working buttons which stay clicked in the upright position until another button is clicked and that stays in the upright position.
