aligning text to a curve...?

Hi everyone, maybe some can tell me if this is possible and if it is how to do it.

I have a block of text which is currently right aligned. Rather than having the text aligned in a straight line I would like the lhs of the block of text to follow a curve. At the moment this is just a block of text on my stage but i could create it dynamically if that's needed.

Any help would be most appreciated

You could use displacement map filer, or make each letter a movieclip and dynamically add it to the curve. "Xeef" has some examples floating around if you search.
