how is this done in 3d?

I don't quite know, but I am sure that there is some kind of an engine behind that with A LOT of advanced Actionscript. If the professionals here have an idea, it'd be cool for all of us to know.

its not 3d is "psuedo" 3d. flash has no 3d capabilities. it just looks like its 3d from the way its drawn.

that's all any 3d is! just because it's not as sophisticated as another engine, doesn't make it pseudo 3d...
but yes, it's done with a bit of math

ok then call it what you will. Flash is a TRUE 3d "not sophisticated" engine.

lolz... ok, ok
i was just trying to point out that flash not having 3d support doesn't mean that the developer(s) who made that didn't use the same set of rules a commercial 3d engine does...
the reason i wanted to point it out is because i felt the poster might go off looking for something called "pseudo 3d" and get unwanted results: isometrics/2.5d (like Double Dragon!)
