Problem with button inside MC affecting main scene

I have a movie clip containing a button in my main scene, and I want the button to advance the main timeline, but I can't seem to make it work, as it is inside a movie clip. I've tried using frame labels, but it isn't working! Can anyone help?

I went ahead and fixed your file and reuploaded. Please take a look and note that the actionscript for your button was placed on the first frame in the main timeline, not in the movie clip.

I also gave the movieclip an instance name of "test" because none was given.
