Swapping images for SWF

I remember seeing a Javascript code that makes the browser, upon loading a page, swap an SWF for a Jpg or Gif image if the user dows not have the Flash plugin installed. I will continue to try to relocate this script because I REALLY REALLY need it right now. But if anyone here knows how to do this please let me know. Thanks.
