Hi Everyone, I've got an infuriating problem that's only just started happening.
I develop Flash websites (Flash 8) along side one other person. As we both need access to the same projects we store all our flash files in a shared windows directory.
In the past when I saved a class file such as “image.as”, and then publish a fla that uses “image.as”, any updates to “image.as” would appear in the resulting swf (or error window!).
For some reason the .fla no longer gets the updated .ai. It doesn’t seem to realise it has changed until I restart flash! All works fine if I edit locally.
Does anyone know what this problem is and why it’s only just started affecting me now? I’m guessing our friend windows update has something to do with it, but any ideas / suggestions / solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
James
