tabbing in and out of components

I have some custom components that ar built on v2 flash components. When a few of these components are put into a scrollpane, I can't tab past a certain component. Some standard and some custom components tab just fine, but when I get to an advanced input box that does an autofill, I can't seem to tab out. Any ideas? It seems like I can't kill the focus from that component.
