Hello,
I have been having a REALLY tough time getting my preloader to work for me in Firefox but other people said it works fine for them. It works perfect for me in IE 6.5 but in FF the preload bar doesn't show and the text fields don't show the correct #'s.
Please take 5 minutes and test my preloader at http://www.visim.com/testgallery/xmltest/
There should be a loader bar under the photo, and 3 text fields showing the %, total bytes and loaded bytes.
Also if you can post what browser and OS you are using as well as if the preloader is working correctly or not it would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Neil

I tested it in another computer in Firefox 1.5 and it worked fine.
Does anyone have Firefox 2.0.0.2 to test it out on?
Someone told me my flash player might have loaded incorrectly but I just recently uninstalled FF, reinstalled it, as well as reloaded the new plugins and it still isn't working for me.

Wow, so it's a problem with my Firefox then it seems. This just gets more and more confusing. Gonna uninstall and reinstall Firefox again and see if it works.
Has anyone heard of this happening or know what it could possibly be?
Works fine in OSX FF2.0.0.2
Have you got the right flash player plugin?

Thanks everyone.
I just uninstalled Firefox and removed all my profiles. Then I installed firefox 1.5 and 2.0.0.2 again. Reinstalled the flash plugins, went to the adobe website to test if the plugins were 9.0 and they were the latest. Still doesn't work. Funny because the computer upstairs works fine.
The only difference I can see is that I am using firefox on windows 2000 here where the problems are, as the computer upstairs that is working fine is on XP. I don't know why a windows 2000 firefox would have any affect on a file that is on a server in a remove location but that is the only variable different from everyone else's info.
Everyone's info is positive in that the majority see it fine but I am a bit nervous how many others will have the problem like I see it.

Thanks Arisbay for the Opera check.
I ended up using it as is since I seemed to be one of the only people having any problems.
csticky I will see if I can get the fla small enough to post here.
