i have no idea if this is even possible but i want to make the 3d carrousel with this image:

i would remove the outter area- the section with chinese words. you'll notice there's 3 lines before the yin & yang symbol....i want the outter line to be the actual link for a total of 8 links. is this even possible to make? i'm afraid i can't because of the perspective. i don't know how i would get the 3 lines before the yin & yang symbol to stay in proper perspective while rotating around with the win and yang. i'd have to figure out how to rotate them in perspective while turning around the oval. i guess i'd have to skew too? any suggestions would be great...should i give up??
