can anyone help or give me a link to a tutorial on making flash games?

well basically im in a class that deals with flash. we were supposed to make an animation and i finished early so now my teacher is making me create a game. i have no clue how to script and i have 2 weeks to come up with a game and 1 of which i will be spending at home because its spring break. so i bascially want to make a game like mario. can anyone help or give me a link to a tutorial on making flash games?

well yea but that site is more for flash 5, im using flash 8 and some script might b incompatibal but atleast that will give me the basics

i find the best tutorials on the web are at acrtoonsmart.com each thing he teaches you is 5 segments starts out teaching you basics then gets into action script and even gives you the starting and finished fla file with everyone download but they cost money...

i would just tell your teacher the truth that you dont know about scrripting and ask for an easier assignment either that or get an "F", im sure he or she will be willing to help you out on scripting or giving you an easier assignment
