slider that affects values and a line on a chart

Hi can anyone point in the direction of a tutorial that will show me how to make the following please.

I can use flash, but not sure how to go about linking the slider to the values that change directly and to the line on the graph

Did you get anywhere with this? I am having trouble with making a slide bar control the timeline of a separate movieclip as well, so if you have any solutions or tutorials, please let me know, ok?
