Ok, so apparently my bosses are idiots. I was hired to do Photoshop stuff and they've got me working on Flash (know very basic stuff) and ASP (know nothing about). After telling them I can't do what they want, they still want me to do it. And they've paired me up with a graphic designer who knows even less about Flash than me.

Essentially they want a 360 viewer of a truck with highlighted areas. They have a SWF already, but don't want to be affiliated with the company that made it. And since all we have is the SWF, I'm having a hard time. I decompiled it and have an idea that it's a movieclip with the images arranged in sequential order that is placed on the main stage. The decompiler wouldn't get the AS for it. How do I get it to drag the movieclip through it's timeline? This was also made in MX, and I'm using 8.

Anything you can suggest to point me in the right direction: tutorials, a decompiler for AS, anything at all would be helpful. I'm using Flash 8.

An example of what we're working on:

I don't even know if this should go here or in the AS 2.0 forum.

hey, it was easy. i hope u like it. i just extracted the images from the other movie and made a new one. made some custom buttons - you can change them of course (just double click on it), and added a couple lines of actionscript. Download it here (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O0D2KHF9)
I used megaupload.
