first of all, thanks to all of those who answered my questions while I was creating the following site and trying to learn flash at the same time, and to those who wrote the many tutorials I read.

OK, so here it is...
it didnt come out quite as elegant as I would like, but it IS my first attempt at flash.

http://www.voiceman.com

Anyone have any ideas on how I can tweak the site to make it run a little smoother / better?

Also, what can I do on the Reels page, to either get the sounds loaded faster, or to delay the user from clicking until they are loaded?

Any tips are appreciated.

Nice! I would make two suggestions. First, use swfObject to write the embed code so you don't get "click spacebar to activate activex...." in IE and second. When you mouse over the main nav buttons, I would make them light up and stay that way until they are rolled off instead of lighting up and then down and up and down again...in focus groups users tends to not like blinking items as they say it reminds them of advertisements. Good job.
