120 fps and still slow!

Hi, I have a 5 frame tween which takes seconds to complete! My fps are set to 120. Why is this happening? If it helps, the tween is inside a movieclip.

Is this a loaded external .swf in a 12fps framerate main movie?

No, it is only one movie set to 120 fps. The animation that runs slow is inside a movieclip. Animations outside of it run perfectly.
