Here are my critiques of the site (at least of the english version, i didn't try the others....)

1. I would have the site load when the user selects the language, and get rid of the extra click that the user needs to make on the colored frame button to proceed....

2. I would have the tabbed menu available when the user first comes to the main area (main section after the language selection section) unless there is a good reason you have it hidden, I think it makes the site navigation a little clearer, and the people who are technically inclined will probably still use the picture scrolling navigation.....

3. as for the picture scroll navigation, it wouldn't hurt to make a rollover state that lets you know what the sections are without having to click on them

4. in the portfolio section, the back button should go back to the portfolio menu, not the main menu

5. this one might be a little picky but the phone graphic seems out of place, I understand the idea, and I think that is fine, but the phone is cartoonish and the rest of the graphics have a more 3D texture to them, making it seem out of place...


these are just my opinions and I give them with the intent of helping you out, but in the end, they are opinions so take them at that...

:D yes... i like this kind of comments :)
1.- for the first point... my gf has told me the same. so i will change that.
2.- no reason to be hidden just when i was testing and codding it was easy to watch the tween... but i think i will ear you and change that too.
3.-Good idea... i will see how it looks if i add the text to the mouse (maybe it's going to be hard to read)... so the other option would be over the image(btn).
4.-yes...it's true. it was the last thing i have do so i was very tired that i didn't see that error.
5.-i was trying to have some contrast between the "photo" and the "icons" so thats the way i left them like cartoonish...(but i think that almost all the other elements has some gradient that gives a little more of volume). so i will see the phone.

I'm only going to touch on the design for the moment. I know your level of flash is good, but everyone seems to forget, people dont see the code, they see a design...Your design is, for lack of a better word, boring. However, you arent claiming to be a designer, you're a developer.

i feel the same... i was trying to create something not linear and very dynamic but at the end i was (am) very disappointed; because it looks more like something not finished and without too much options.
User only can press some buttons and information is so statique.
But thanks Cota for you point of view I really take this in count and now I have a better idea for my next project.

Mmmmmmmmmhhhh… I never thought about this possibility.
