The Artwork of Victor Lopez (http://www.viclopez.com)
i'd appreciate hearing about any bugs you might run into. i also don't mind any visual criticism. i-critischism. its pretty minimal and i'm starting to see what it could grow into, but that's the next phase.
this is my first site after spending some time away from the Flash. Flash 8 is great and CS3 for the Mac is looking even better!
thanks!

I think it looks fantastic. Typography is great. Is that typeface Nobel?
Love the way the artwork samples load. Everything is simple, easy to navigate, and very straightforward. Exactly what I would want to see if I was trying to check out an artist's work.
Nice work on a great-looking site!

thank you for the comments. great eye there, spotting the Nobel!
i've learned something about the playback speed of the ease, but since i started building this site i've switched up my approach to moving clips around. this site uses a simple easing approach; cutting distances down with an onEnterFrame. the flas are set to 59 fps -- not sure why and don't think i'll do it again. it's from the "why does it look so slow on my mac" days of Flash.
the site runs great on my PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz, but when i see it on an iMac G5 2.0 GHz Dual it's crazy fast -- it must be getting close to that 59 fps.
i've looked at Flash's built in tween, fuse and zeh's caurina. i imagine their are a few others out there, but i like caurina the most. maybe using a specified time for a tween is a better approach for getting consistent playback on a variety of processors. i keep my eye on this i.
