email through a swf

This is probably the wrong forum, but I have setup a hotspot on a fireworks .png with an email link. That image then goes into a .swf file, but the email is not working?

Is this possible through flash 8?

Can you give a better descriptive idea of what it is your doing/trying to do.

if you go to www.meadowlarkco.com/meadow_new and then the employee section and click on west dispatch, and any of the employees in there where it says "contact....." those are pngs which are inserted into a swf and if I preview the png individually it works, but within the swf it doesn't. I can't attach the zip because its too large if you need, I could email you the file.

Any script that was added in FW will not work in flash. you will need to create button in flash then apply the code in there.
